Course Description: Clinical decision making in advanced practice nursing. Decision theory and related concepts. Application of critical thinking and clinical judgment to differential diagnoses of common primary care conditions.

My Role: Collaborate on all aspects of the course to promote consistency and a team approach to facilitate student learning. Responsible for the theory course content including exams, clinical placement, and overall course/program concerns. Provide oversight, guidance, and evaluation of clinical group of students. Communicate with faculty members, preceptors, and students on a regular basis. Additional responsibilities include evaluation of student clinical performance, clinical written assignments, and documentation of competency achievement and completion of clinical hours.
